Job Description:
We are currently seeking an accomplished Business Controller with a strong background in performance analysis and management to join our team. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring our Delivery Channel performance and Logistics operations. The Controller is expected to monitor and challenge the status quo, while deriving actionable insights through the analysis of operational metrics/KPIs and other relevant data. Your expertise in sales & operations, profitability analysis and reporting, will be crucial to our success. You will play a vital role in maintaining a comprehensive understanding of main sales drivers across our current Delivery services portfolio (client frequency, basket, invoices, drops, SKUs, etc), while overlooking the profitability of the operation (deep diving at client level) in close collaboration with both Sales and Logistics Departments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a vigilant watch over performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders by providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on your data-driven analysis.
- Challenge and analyse the performance, including sales, profitability, and operational KPIs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of pricing strategies, cost structures, and factors affecting profitability.
- Leverage your expertise in company BI infrastructure and Master Data to establish efficient processes and workflows for effective performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify Chances & Risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record in financial analysis and performance evaluation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in using BI tools and platforms to access, analyze and visualize data effectively.
- Familiarity with financial management concepts and financial metrics.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Problem-solving orientation with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements.
- Strong excel skills.
